Blastrac’s 2-45DTM truck-mounted shot blaster is one of the most adaptable and productive of the large horizontal blast cleaning machines in our equipment line. The DOT highway approved vehicle is completely self-contained and specifically designed for surface preparation specialists doing jobs that require limited downtime, such as airports, highways, bridges and other large projects. The 2-45DTM provides a virtually dust-free, environmentally friendly work environment for the operator and others on the same site. The remarkable 2-45DTM converts from a transport to a high production, environmentally friendly, shot blasting road machine.
Specialty contractors can drive to the job with all equipment, personnel, and supplies safely in a single vehicle. All controls, dust collection, spares, consumables, and the blast head, are protected in an enclosed truck body equipped with a lift-gate. Work is started after quick mounting of the blast head, converting the over-the-road vehicle to effective work machine.
The 2-45DTM shot blaster is perfectly suited for road maintenance, asphalt retexturing, bridge deck preparation, airport maintenance and much more. It is also designed for skid resistance enhancement on roads, bridges, and runways. Road/runway markings removal or compounded-rubber removal can also be completed with virtually no dust, debris or water.

The Blastrac 1-8DEC is an easy-to-use, versatile shot blast system designed for the entry level contractor, or for use as a complementary unit or edging unit for the medium or large contractor. An optional caster kit makes the system highly maneuverable and helps provide for a more consistent, even profile.
The Blastrac 1-8DEC is useful for residential garage floors, balconies, pool decks, tight areas around equipment and obstructions, and test patches. It is also used for concrete preparation prior to installation of wood flooring and is great for PVC decorative stenciling.

Blastrac are the innovators in surface preparation that has given its name to a new category of essential preparation technology. Blastrac company history already spans over a hundred years. In 1906 the American Foundry Corporation was established in the United States.   Now established in Europe for nearly thirty years, Blastrac technique offers an efficient method for preparing and cleaning many types of horizontal and vertical surfaces in an environmentally friendly way. As would be expected from a market leader, Blastrac offers much more than machinery, our technical experts are available to help solve any surface preparation problems. To share all our experiences on surface preparation over the last hundred years,  a few years ago Blastrac has set-up an academy. Main goal from this academy is to train individual people and companies for the best surface preparation for every application. BLASTRAC SCRAPING & STRIPPING

SCRAPING & STRIPPING

When you need to expose the surface, Blastrac tools do the job efficiently. Tedious scraping with flimsy hand scrapers can be a thing of the past. You may no longer find a jack hammer the most efficient way to remove tile, tile mortar and grout beds. Even removing tough mastics and stripping-adhered membranes and floor coverings are no match for power scraping large areas using our ride-on scraping machines. With attachments to match particular job requirements these easily-maneuverable brutes make quick work of those tough jobs.

Blastrac scrapers can easily remove:

• rubber and elastomeric coatings
• carpet, ceramic tile, and VCT
• thin-set mortar and mastics,
• epoxy, adhesives and more

Blastrac’s propane powered, ride-on scraping machines will make removing flooring materials much easier, faster and more effective. Different scraping tooling or blades, some with scoring flanges, are designed for various removal applications from commercial carpet to tile, to wood, to VCT and more.

Powered scrapers are also used to remove a wide range of other materials including waterproofing membranes, roofing material, thick coatings and heavy mastics, epoxy, and more.

Scraping & Stripping Accessories

Blastrac has carpet blades, tile blades and other tooling for walk-behind or ride-on scrapers to help get rid of commercial carpet, gummy adhesive, vinyl-composite tile and other overlayments. Premium quality, high performance consumables like our double-sided blades maximize your productivity. These razor sharp blades or hardened teeth are designed to slide under, fracture or otherwise remove unwanted materials from the surface. The BS-110 floor stripper is a powerful self-propelled machine, ideal for indoor and outdoor medium-sized renovation jobs. The BS-110 is constructed of rugged metal for longevity and durability on the worksite. With hydraulic components, this floor stripper requires almost no maintenance to keep running at peak performance.
